Audio Pacer (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding information collected through our mobile application, Audio Pacer (“the App”).

Unlike most modern applications, Audio Pacer does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. The App is designed to function entirely on your local mobile device.

1. Information We Do Not Collect (Zero-Data Architecture)

We firmly believe that your fitness and health data belongs to you.

• No Personal Information: We do not require you to create an account, log in, or provide your name, email address, or phone number to use the App.

• No Fitness or Health Data Tracking: The App calculates your pace, distance, and tracks your heart rate via your device's built-in sensors or connected hardware (e.g., Apple Watch, Bluetooth heart rate monitors). This data is processed locally in real-time on your device to provide audio coaching. It is never transmitted to us or any third-party server.

• No Location Tracking: The App uses your device's location services (GPS) solely to calculate your running distance and pace during a workout. We do not track, map, or store your location history on any server.

• No Analytics or Advertising: We do not use third-party analytics frameworks, tracking pixels, or advertising identifiers. We do not show ads, and we do not track your behavior across other apps or websites.

2. Information Handled by Third-Party Services

To offer features like premium subscriptions, the App interacts with secure, privacy-focused platform services:

Apple App Store & Google Play Store

All subscription transactions and payment processing are handled entirely by Apple or Google, depending on your device. We never see, collect, or store your credit card details, bank information, or billing address.

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage and validate your in-app subscription status.

• What it does: When you subscribe, the App communicates with RevenueCat to check if your purchase is valid.

• Data minimized: RevenueCat only sees an anonymized, random token representing your purchase receipt. It does not receive your name, email, or any identifying details.

3. Device Permissions

To provide real-time running metrics, the App will request the following permissions on your mobile device. You can turn these off at any time in your device settings, though doing so will limit the App's core functionality:

• Location Services / GPS: Required to calculate your running pace and distance.

• Bluetooth / Health Data (Apple Health / Google Connect): Required if you choose to connect an external heart rate monitor or smartwatch to hear your heart rate called out.

• Audio / Media Controls: Required to play the coaching cues over your headphones or device speakers.

4. International Compliance & Regional Rights

United Kingdom & European Union (UK GDPR & EU GDPR)

Because we do not collect, store, or process any personal data, we act neither as a "Data Controller" nor a "Data Processor" for personal metrics under European privacy frameworks.

• Your data remains strictly under your own control on your personal hardware.

• If you contact us directly via email for support, we will only use your email address to respond to your specific inquiry, and we will delete the correspondence once resolved.

United States (CCPA, CPRA, and State Privacy Laws)

Audio Pacer does not "sell" or "share" personal information, as defined under California and other US state privacy laws, because we do not collect or possess any user data to begin with.

5. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the UK/EU). Because the App collects no data from any user, no child's data is captured or stored.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App, and the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy will be revised. Because we do not have your email address, we encourage you to review this policy periodically within your app settings.
